Last week, we told you about the recently released Third Edition of ASHRAE’s Thermal Guidelines for Data Processing Environments. Along with a heavy emphasis on the importance of containment in data center thermal management, the new guidelines also point to the effectiveness of liquid cooling in achieving energy efficiency.

CoolIT Systems logoOne company helping to advance liquid cooling in the marketplace is Canadian-based CoolIT Systems, who will be exhibiting at the upcoming SC12 Conference and Exhibition in Salt Lake City, Utah, November 12-15.

Visitors to the CoolIT Systems booth will be interested to learn that the direct contact liquid cooling solution on display will be housed inside a server cabinet from CPI (like the one below), who has worked closely with CoolIT Systems engineers to produce server cabinet architectures that enable an easy integration of this highly efficient technology into any data center space.
