BICSI, the association advancing the information and communications technology (ICT) community, affirmed its plans to support Middle East and Africa (MEA) District at the official opening of its new office at the Sheikh Rashid Tower, Dubai World Trade Centre, according to a recent BICSI press release.

Beijing Bans Data Centers with PUE Above 1.5

Data centers in Beijing must now operate a power usage effectiveness (PUE) rate below 1.5, according to a recent report by Environment 360, a publication of Yale University. With most data centers in China operating with a PUE of 2.2, the new mandate is causing many companies to relocate.
