TERAFRAME_N-SERIES_CISCO.jpgCPI’s N-Series TeraFrame™ Network Cabinet is available in a wide variety of configurations that not only address the unique challenges of side-breathing switches, but also provides exceptional cable management for high-density fiber applications.

Cisco has certified two configurations of the N-Series TeraFrame as Cisco Compatible for housing Catalyst 6500E and MDS 9500 Series of products.  But the N-Series TeraFrame does much more than provide an enclosed framework to support a switch; it employs CPI Passive Cooling™ Solutions to manage the hot exhaust air created by these side-breathing switches.  Specifically, the cabinet’s Network Switch Exhaust Duct removes hot air by isolating and re-directing it out the back of the cabinet and into the hot aisle, minimizing hot air re-circulation and essentially converting side-to-side airflow into a front-to-rear airflow pattern. By running the entire height of the cabinet the Network Switch Exhaust Duct provides the freedom to organize and move equipment as needed. Find out more about how the N-Series TeraFrame Network Cabinet is used with Cicso switches.

The N-Series TeraFrame also addresses high-density fiber applications.  CPI and Corning Cable Systems collaborated to make the design, installation and use of fiber in the data center a seamless process. The result is CPI Fiber Management Solutions which support Corning Cabling Systems Plug & Play™ Universal Systems, part of LANscape® Pretium™ Zero-U Solutions.

TERAFRAME_N-SERIES_FIBER.jpgCPI Fiber Management Solutions provide easy attachment and strain relief for trunk cables and simple mounting of modules and/or high-density MTP adapter panels in the 0 RMU space located between the N-Series TeraFrame Cabinet frame and side panels. By addressing cabling challenges of Brocade and Cisco equipment, the solution greatly reduces the amount of space occupied by cabling in cabinets, accelerates the deployment for high-density Storage Area Networks, improves air circulation and simplifies moves, adds and changes.

Additionally, CPI Fiber Management can eliminate 77% of bulk cabling in the SAN director’s cabinet vertical managers and up to 77% of cable congestion in the director backplane. Find out more about how the N-Series TeraFrame Network Cabinet is used to manage fiber. Kim Ream, eMarketing Designer

We recently installed a row of N-Series cabinets and they are doing a great job reducing heat in the data center. The fiber cables are very clean and organized as well. Great product!
