KyotoCooling® Seminars Scheduled for September and December

(Thermal Management, International, Data Center, Seminars and Training) Permanent link

KyotoCooling Images“KyotoCooling: The cooling problem solved” is the title of the series of seminars held annually at the KyotoCooling Headquarters in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Solving data center cooling challenges is quite a claim. They also say “seeing is believing” and prove their technology with two site visits where attendees receive a live understanding of KyotoCooling and how it can really supply free data center cooling days.

KyotoCooling seminars will be held September 22-23 and December 2-3, 2009 in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Chatsworth Products is a regular presenter at these seminars because CPI Passive Cooling™ Solutions work hand-in-hand with KyotoCooling. At the cabinet level, CPI’s ducted cabinet provides ultimate cooling by isolating the room’s cold air from hot exhaust air. By doing this, you are able to cost-effectively air cool cabinets with heat densities in excess of 30 kW while raising the computer room HVAC supply temperature from a typical 55 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

Read blog article “KyotoCooling and CPI Passive Cooling – Simple But Effective” for more details on the relationship between these two technologies.

Use the CPI PUE Calculator™ to find out how KyotoCooling and CPI Passive Cooling can improve the efficiency of your specific data center. The calculator takes your information and provides results based on that information.

If possible, plan to attend a KyotoCooling Seminars. Topics will include:

  • KyotoCooling Technology: How does it work?
  • Engineered for simplicity, reliability and efficiency. Details about the basic design rules, controls and rotary heat wheel capabilities.
  • Financial adaptation of KyotoCooling.
  • Reducing cooling expenditures by 80-90%, with increasing density and cooling reliability.
  • Establishing and maintaining maximum isolation between cool supply air and hot return air, along with an explanation of the economic benefits of that isolation.
