With all the hard work that’s been going on at CPI lately, let’s just say Labor Day can’t get here soon enough! But before we kick back for some much-needed R&R, let’s kickstart the weekend with an in-depth look at five new products launching today.
F-Series TeraFrame® HD Cabinet System
Make no mistake, the F-Series TeraFrame® HD Cabinet System is a beautifully rendered, sharply focused storage solution for all your computer, data and network equipment, but here, HD stands for something much more important in today’s industry – heavy duty. Especially equipped to handle heavy duty server and storage applications requiring up to 3,000 lb (1630 kg) of equipment support, the F-Series TeraFrame HD Cabinet is designed to be pre-loaded with equipment at a factory integration site and then shipped to the data center. The HD TeraFrame Cabinet includes two pairs of sliding, continuously adjustable equipment mounting rails with square punched mounting holes for compatibility with most rack-mount equipment. In addition, the F-Series TeraFrame HD Cabinet system includes heavy-duty casters with roller bearings for superior long-term performance under load, a shock pallet, and a re-usable cushioned carton for protection during shipment. Doors are either solid or perforated (mesh) and feature a swing handle with keyed-lock for security.
Security T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet
Speaking of security, for ultimate protection and peace of mind when it comes to storing video recorders and other security equipment, the Security T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet offers a variety of top-notch features. Built tough, yet priced affordably, this steel cabinet proves an attractive solution for 19” EIA rack-mountable equipment, with fully adjustable EIA-310-D compliant vertical mounting rails to accommodate depth-variable, easy installation. The cabinet doors come equipped with keyed locks, single-point latch and swing handle for both easy access and secure containment. Available to ship as a fully configured and assembled cabinet, or as a frame-only cabinet without side panels or doors, the Security T-Series Cabinet from CPI is perfect for those thinking braun on a budget.
Velocity™ Standard Pack
Consolidating your equipment and cabling needs saves time and money. Enter the Velocity™ Standard Pack (VSP), an easy-to-use solution for managing those needs at the cross connect. The VSP comes complete with one CPI Standard Rack, a concrete floor installation kit, and a single or double-sided Velocity Vertical Cable Manager packaged in a single carton. CPI’s Standard Rack supports patch panels, fiber enclosures and network switches and is UL® Listed, with easy set up and use. Velocity Cable Managers are single and double-sided cable management troughs that control cable feed with a patented system of large cable openings that align with each equipment-mounting space on the rack. The snap-on cover provides quick and easy access to cables and a clean, finished look for a complete cable management system. The VSP is offered in four variations with a single-sided or double-sided cable manager in either 3.6”W (91 mm) or 6”W (152 mm) versions. Cable managers can be mounted on either side of the Standard Rack.
Distribution Channel Mounting Rings
CPI’s Distribution Channel Mounting Rings feature a variety of practical design elements to successfully organize, protect and preserve equipment wiring and cabling. Mounting to the upright channels of CPI Universal equipment racks only, the Distribution Channel Mounting Rings are made of high-strength, fire-retardant material and sold either individually or in quantities of 100. Now available in black to match racks with black finish, the rings feature rounded edges to prevent damage to cable and wire insulation while providing easy pull-through. Additionally, the open-design, split “C” ring allows for easy adds, moves and changes, thus eliminating the need to feed through cable.
Center Rail For Adjustable ServerRack and QuadraRack™
CPI’s Center Rail can be added to the Adjustable ServerRack and QuadraRack™ to provide an additional pair of mounting rails for rack-mount equipment. Made of durable steel and shipped with marked and numbered rack-mount spaces to simplify equipment installation, the Center Rail consists of one pair of 19”W mounting rails with square-punched or threaded equipment mounting holes. The adjustable depth gives you the ability to attach the rails at any point along the side of the rack as well. With a 1,000 lb (453.6 kg) equipment load bearing capacity when used as an independent pair of rails, the rack load remains 2,000 lb (907.2 kg) when Center Rail is used as the front or rear pair of a four-point mounting solution – versatile indeed.
