Chatsworth Products (CPI) recently co-hosted a two-day seminar with its global distributor, Anixter, and provider of end-to-end fiber optic and copper products, Corning Cable Systems, to present the latest and most cost-effective market solutions to data center professionals in Peru.

Bañuelos, CPI’s Technical Manager for Latin America, presented “Data Centers with High Availability and Efficiency.” Among other important topics, Bañuelos discussed the real costs of poor data center project management; benefits of having a holistic data center design; how to balance the relationship between hardware, software and the rack; and how to carry out the successful implementation of power and cooling.
Attendees were especially interested in CPI’s Passive Cooling® Solutions and how they can truly take old data centers into the future. Proper thermal management has become a vital step toward energy efficiency and cost savings in the data center, and CPI’s Passive Cooling® Solutions provide superior equipment cooling performance while greatly reducing data center cooling energy costs.

Seminar participants were especially amazed at how a holistic data center design helps companies save millions in energy costs, thus impacting their ROI in a very positive way.
