Chatsworth Products, Inc. has teamed up with Accu-Tech, Corning Cable Systems, and Quiktron to host a full day of BICSI-certified training in Louisville, Kentucky on Thursday, April 15, 2010.
The event is being held at Louisville Slugger Field which is located at 401 East Main Street - home of the Louisville Bats minor leagues baseball team. The seven credit hour (CEC) class will be located in the Jack Daniels Bar.
The event kicks off at 9 am with Corning Cable Systems OTDR & Fusion Splicer Equipment. This hands-on training and lecture discusses the proper equipment for testing and splicing applications, interpreting OTDR traces, splicer technology, and terminations. Attendees will earn four BICSI CEC’s for this session that runs until 1 pm. Lunch will be served.
From 1-2 pm Quiktron will conduct a one hour/one CEC training on A/V Connectivity Basics.
CPI’s Marc Malone will wrap up the training portion of the day with a two hour/two CEC’s class on The Cabinet’s Place in the Data Center for Thermal Management. Best practices will be presented for data center design and optimum thermal management performance; including room space equipment organization, managing cable distribution, deploying open access floor tiles, and using the cabinet as an airflow management tool.
