Back to School Means Giving Back to the Community for CPI

 Permanent link

CPI Fills the BusFor the fifth year running, Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) employee owners at our Georgetown, Texas facility recently joined together for a truly 'academic' community event - the annual "Fill the Bus" School Supply Drive, directly benefiting students of local school districts in the Central Texas area.

Led by CPI's Employee Ownership Committee (who work year-round at all of our facilities to promote the ESOP culture), the company began accepting monetary and material donations on everything from paper, pencils, crayons and glue sticks back at the end of July.

By the close of our donation deadline in mid-August, the goal was not only met, but exceeded! That resulted in an approximate total of $1,800 worth of much-needed supplies going to over 300 local-area students!

CPI employee owners loading suppliesSpecial thanks go out to all the CPI employee owners who helped coordinate the supply drive efforts, donate items, and keep the rest of us motivated and excited to pitch in!. From start to finish, it's outreach like this that makes CPI proud to say "we're all in this together." Brandi Oldt, Design Engineer and Jeff Cihocki, eContent Specialist
