Back in April, Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) launched the Data Center Efficiency Technical Seminar Series for 2011. In partnership with EDI, Ltd., Stulz, Corning Cable Systems and StarLine, the seminars have spanned the country (San Francisco Bay Area, Denver, Boston, Seattle and Dallas) and covered a variety of best practices for data center efficiency (design strategies, economics of airflow management, economization, power distribution and cabling).
During our first five events, there's been plenty of positive feedback from the 300-plus attendees. Here's what they've been saying:
"Excellent seminar - extremely informative. The hot and cold issues were very well presented - the presenters were really good, clear, concise and to the point. The timing was just right as well - not too long - covered everything really well in a good amount of time." - Derek Howe, Director of New Technology, Devine Technology Partners
"I've probably attended 100 data center seminars over the years and most were almost worthless - CPI's was outstanding. A lot of new and relevant information was presented - actually the best I've ever been to. I got more out of this than any I've ever attended. I really learned a lot and appreciated the group of presenters and CPI." - Leonard Campbell, President, Excel Lan Communications
"The seminar was extremely educational - very well put together. I particularly enjoyed the mechanical side of the presentations. The speakers were thorough, smart and provided exactly what I was looking to gain from the event." - Rick McKittrick, Infrastructure Engineer, Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
On June 22, we marked the end of the first half of the seminar series with a giveaway of global proportions - drawing one lucky winner from our Dallas, TX attendee list to take home a brand new GF-Series GlobalFrame™ Cabinet from CPI - surely our biggest door prize in recent memory. That honor went to Mark Guajardo, Project Manager at Facility Solutions Group (FSG) out of Dallas (seen below).
With an impressive eight more events planned for the fall of 2011, there's still plenty of time to register for one of these BICSI and AIA-credit earning (and free) events in your area - especially for those in the telecom and ACE communities. Starting in September, we'll be making our way to Chicago, Washington D.C., Southern California, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, Ft. Lauderdale, New York and Atlanta. Be sure to register on the info page, mark your calendars and make plans now - who knows, you might just walk away with a global-sized door prize! Jeff Cihocki, eContent Specialist
