Looking to earn more BICSI Continuing Education Credits (CECs)? Chatsworth Products (CPI) recently added three new BICSI-approved courses to its library, which now includes 11 comprehensive courses.BICSI Logo.jpg

Ensuring IT Equipment Availability and Low Cost of Operation with Data Center Solutions - 2 credits
As power densities within data center cabinets continue to rise, organizations must find ways to manage both airflow and to deliver power reliability. Implementing enhanced airflow management best practices using containment allows reliable inlet temperature control and can reduce cooling cost and improve efficiency with chilled water systems.

Cabinet Power and Containment in Dollars and Sense - 1 credit
Monitoring power use at the rack- and device-level and maintaining good airflow management practices helps reduce the cost of data center operations. This simple, sensible approach employs intelligent PDUs, a DCIM software and a system of baffles that integrate with your racks to provide a complete separation of hot and cold air within your data center computer room (*Note: This can also be presented as a webinar).

Power Distribution Considerations for High-Density Data Center Environments - 1 credit
As the need to handle data grows exponentially, more data centers are virtualizing and consolidating their compute infrastructure, leading to high rack densities. Supporting the power needs of these dense environments raises several power, environmental and monitoring challenges at the cabinet level. In this new scenario, organizations must find ways to reliably manage and deliver power (*Note: This can also be presented as a webinar).

These courses are presented by CPI’s highly-trained and experienced professionals. Many of our employees hold various industry certifications and participate on advisory boards and technical committees. Don’t forget that in order to receive CECs, attendees must take classes in person.

CPI provides a variety of online and in-person training sessions and instructional seminars throughout the world, including Mexico City, London, Shanghai, Dubai, Ontario and at our state-of-the-art Research, Development and Training (RD&T) Center in Georgetown, Texas.

CPI's expert training services are also mobile, meaning we can bring the training straight to you for personalized, educational sessions on-site.
