Just weeks after officially announcing completely localized and fully translated websites for key regions across the globe (including Chinese-speaking customers in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region), Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI) celebrated the grand opening of a brand new office in Shanghai, China on February 29.

The event not only represented a continued commitment to providing maximum support to one of the world’s fastest growing IT markets, it marked an impressive upgrade to CPI’s long-running sales, technical and customer support in the APAC region.
Having outgrown our previous China location, our new facility offers the customer a complete CPI experience with a product and solutions demonstration lab, conference rooms, training center and more.
Customers had the chance to tour the new facility, complete with product demonstrations.
To celebrate the opening, nearly 100 distinguished guests, including members of the Chatsworth Products Executive Team and Asia Pacific Sales, Technical and Customer Support, a variety of high-profile customers, honored guests and industry media took part in a special luncheon at the Pudong Sheraton Hotel.
The theme of this ceremonious occasion symbolized the unity between CPI’s heritage in the United States and our emergence in the Asia Pacific region, as well as our new state-of-the-art office facility.
Highlights included Chinese Drum and Lion Dance Ceremony, Sichuan Opera and live music (all of which you can see in our Facebook photo album). Todd Heany, CPI's APAC Area Sales Director, said "the opening of our new facility in Shanghai means that we will be able to provide our China and Asia Pacific customers with a whole new level of high quality products, services and customer support."
As CPI continues to strengthen and diversify its global presence and support, you can rest assured that the same, great employee-owned philosophy born and bred right here in the United States will carry on – a distinguishing fact that represents our level of tradition and optimism for the future!
