BICSI, the association advancing the information and communications technology (ICT) community, affirmed its plans to support Middle East and Africa (MEA) District at the official opening of its new office at the Sheikh Rashid Tower, Dubai World Trade Centre, according to a recent BICSI press release.
With the rapid growth and expansion of ICT projects and
needs in the MEA area, along with its BICSI membership steadily climbing to
nearly 400 members, Dubai has been identified as a prime spot to assist ICT
professionals.
“Opening this office in Dubai marks a great milestone in our
strategy to support the MEA District,” said BICSI President Ensign. “We will
continue to focus our efforts on MEA and Dubai specifically to meet the
ever-increasing needs of the ICT community.”
The office’s grand opening occurred earlier this month in conjunction with the 36th GITEX Technology Week in Dubai, one of the largest tech events in the world, bringing more than 100,000 ICT professionals to the Dubai World Trade Center for the week.
Chatsworth Products (CPI), a BICSI Corporate member, supports Middle East and Africa from its office in Dubai. Many companies in this area have taken advantage of CPI's products and solutions, including Regents Emirates Pearl Hotel and Oman Data Park. Sundeep Raina, CPI's Sales Director for the Middle East, and his staff are experienced at helping ICT professionals meet the challenges of today's IT demands.
