(CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, now offers a complete line of power strips for racks and cabinets featuring maximum installation flexibility and easy access to rack-mounted equipment.
At the core of the offering is a streamlined, black power strip with unique mounting brackets designed specifically for rack mount applications. For horizontal applications, a 17-inch power strip with mounting brackets is available. Vertical applications accommodate the longer 66.25- and 38.50-inch strips.
Vertical power strips use the patent-pending Versa-Clamp™ mounting bracket -- an innovative CPI product unmatched in functionality and versatility. Its unique design attaches the power strip in a variety of orientations, allowing the strip to face the front, outside, inside or rear of the rack or cabinet. For racks, the Versa-Clamp provides 6.5 inches of standoff from the rack channel so that rack-mounted equipment can be easily accessed. When used with the new Offset Mounting Bracket, up to three power strips can be mounted side-by-side on a rack. The Versa-Clamp for cabinets can attach at any depth to the horizontal mounting rail, either in or out of the cabinet's usable space.
The 17-inch horizontal power strip has brackets for flush or stand-off mounting in 19-, 23- and 25-inch rack mount racks, cabinets and wall-mount enclosures.
All CPI power strips are UL Listed and are available with a choice of features including 15, 20 and 30 ampere ratings, surge or non-surge protection, and a standard or twist-lock plug. Each strip includes a circuit breaker, 10-foot power cord, LED indicator and mounting hardware.
