Improved Rack-Mount Storage Drawer From CPI Secures More Software, Hardware and Cables
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. – January 5, 2004 – Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of cabinet, rack and cable management systems for technology equipment, has introduced an upgraded version of its Lockable Storage Drawer.
CPI’s improved Lockable Storage Drawer accommodates twice the load as the previous model and has been designed to secure a wide variety of materials within any freestanding 19"-wide or 23"-wide Two-Post or Four-Post System. Items ideal for storage include backup media, software, manuals, laptops, test equipment, extra power supplies, spare drives, computer cables, patch cords and other computer hardware.
The new Lockable Storage Drawer is available in two sizes to accommodate larger or smaller storage spaces. Brackets are included for attachment to two-post and four-post systems. The Drawer extends to a full 20” depth, providing easy access to stored equipment or media.
Lockable Storage Drawer supports 100 lb. Attaches to freestanding racks or cabinets with 3” deep, 6” deep or 24” to 39” deep mounting rails. Select from three height options: 2 RMU, 3 RMU or 4 RMU for 19” wide or 23” wide racks or cabinets. Two identical keys are included. An optional divider accessory is available for organizing tape or CD media. Available in a brushed aluminum finish or painted computer white, black or gray.
CPI’s Lockable Storage Drawer provides a practical solution for keeping software media, cables and hardware near equipment that needs these items close by. Contents are held securely and are organized for quick and easy access.
