Let Me Introduce Our Teams - Sales

How was your holiday?  I hope you and yours enjoyed it and everybody was safe.  It is always exciting to start a new year and we look forward to new opportunities working with you and your teams to be successful. 

Today I would like to introduce you to our sales team. CPI’s sales team is comprised of our Regional Sales Managers (RSM) and knowledgeable, friendly Rep Firms. CPI RSMs are a hard working group scattered throughout the United States. Because of the large areas they are required to cover we supplement them with local Rep Firms who are available to answer product and pricing questions, help specify our product and make sure you have what you need to be successful with our products.

If you have a question for our sales team, there are several ways to contact them. You can contact them directly by phone or email (find the info on our Website). If you visit our Website you will notice that we list all of our CPI RSMs and our Rep Firm partners by state or global region. Our RSMs will simply be listed as “Sales Managers” or “Sales Directors”.

When should you call sales?  If you need to discuss special pricing for a large project or need them to visit you for a lunch and learn, a site visit or something of that nature, it is recommended that you contact them directly.  If you have an issue with delivery, product availability or similar, then contact a Customer Support Representative (CSR).  If you have a technical or quality issue contact the Technical Support Team (TS).  We will gather the information and get the RSM involved if necessary.  Typically we will handle it without them which frees them up to work on your other needs.  If we feel that your requirements would best be served by a site visit or some other local support we will contact the RSM. If you ever have a question we have many, many different sources of information - the Sales Team I mentioned above, the Technical Support Team I discussed in my last Blog, and the Customer Support Team that will I discuss in the future.  We also have our Distributors who are very knowledgeable and have worked with us on many projects so they have some experience in “navigating” the information to get you what you need to get the job done.
