Chatsworth Products (CPI) has redesigned its Evolution® Horizontal Cable Manager to include a flared edge feature at the
top and bottom of the manager, so that the entire rack-mount unit (U) space can be properly covered
for optimal airflow management at the rack level.
Additionally, customers
can now choose between solid chassis or chassis with cable openings. The solid
chassis is recommended in applications where thermal isolation is important,
such as in the front of rails of cabinets, or when Passive Cooling® is being deployed.
Evolution Cable
Management is used in high-density cabling applications on open two- and
four-post CPI Rack Systems, delivering increased performance to match the
demands of today’s data center applications.
