Safely Transport a Fully Loaded Cabinet in to Your Data Center

(CPI Products, Data Center, Thermal Management, Cable Management) Permanent link

Chatsworth Products’ (CPI) F-Series TeraFrame® Cabinet System is widely known as an ideal solution for optimizing cooling within the data center. However, there is lesser known member of the TeraFrame family who is built to tackle the heavy-duty jobs.

The F-Series TeraFrame HD Cabinet System is designed not only to secure and protect up to 3000 lb of computer, data storage and network equipment, but also to safely allow the transport of the equipment from a factory integration site, directly to a customer’s data center or computer room.

The TeraFrame HD has been fully tested and certified by a third party to meet test standards, which simulate typical stresses experienced by freight in transit. Find out more about this in our Frequently Asked Questions.

Each F-Series TeraFrame HD includes heavy-duty casters with roller bearings for superior long-term performance under load, a shock pallet and a re-usable cushioned carton for protection during shipment.

The cabinet can also be ordered with a Vertical Exhaust Duct for high-density applications. The top panel includes large, brush-covered cable openings that will handle large bundles of cables, while preventing hot air recirculation.

CPI will install thermal and cable management accessories in an F-Series TeraFrame HD Cabinet prior to shipping the cabinet to an integrator’s facility. Contact CPI Technical Support for assistance. Be sure to designate exact placement of accessories and spacing for the mounting rails.

Find out more about how you can save time and money with this heavy-duty storage solution.
