WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif., Feb. 11, 2014 – With the continuous increase in mobile technology, Chatsworth Products (CPI) wants to help its customers make business faster and easier, so it is proud to introduce the new CPI Mobile App Suite.
CPI Mobile App Suite is a free suite that can be downloaded to Apple- and Android- powered phones and tablets to assist IT and telecommunications professionals in identifying and selecting the products they need easily.
Through a highly intuitive platform, customers now have access to four unique tools that help them determine cable fill, select server cabinets, identify the best power distribution unit (PDU) and create bills of material (BOM) for cable pathway, all while on the go.
The Cable Fill Calculator helps customers select the best product for their application. Whether its vertical or horizontal cable managers, cable management rings or cable runway products, customers will be able to find the results they are looking for right in the palm of their hands.
The Cabinet Selector allows users to browse CPI cabinets and enclosures, and select the best one for their needs based on specific requirements such as height, width, depth, door styles and more. Once a cabinet is selected, a part number as well as an information sheet are provided.
The eConnect® PDU Selector assists customers with choosing the best PDU for their power management requirements. Once a PDU is chosen, a part number and cut sheet are provided for more information.
The BOM Builder tool allows customers to prepare a list of project materials quickly and on the go. Users can select from either cable runway or wire mesh cable tray. They are led through a series of options such as color, type of splices, junctions and more. Once the full section is complete, a BOM complete with part numbers, descriptions and quantity is created. An additional option is also available to add part numbers such as servers or eConnect PDUs.
Each of these tools gives customers the option of emailing the results to themselves, other customers, CPI’s Technical Support Team or Distributors for ordering or verification.
