Air Dam Kit

For systems that receive cool air through the front of the cabinet

Block airflow between equipment mounting rails and the top, bottom, and sides of the cabinet's frame to route chilled air through the equipment and prevent hot exhaust air from re-circulate inside the cabinet. Part of CPI's Passive Cooling Solution. Use with Snap-In Filler Panels and the Bottom Panel Kit to create one-way airflow through the cabinet.

  • Included with all T-Series cabinets with Vertical Exhaust Duct Top Panel

For systems that receive cool air through the bottom of the cabinet

  • Cool air guided from the bottom of the cabinet to the front of equipment
  • Barrier between the door and equipment along the top, bottom and sides
  • Hot and cool air prevented from mixing within the cabinet
  • Best when used with Solid Metal, Solid Plexiglass or Vented Plexiglass Door on the front of the cabinet and appropriately sized Filler Panels to close open spaces between equipment 
  • Limited access to vertical cable managers from the front of the cabinet

Air Diverter

Bottom Panel Kit for T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet

The bottom panel covers the bottom of the T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet to block airflow into and out of the vase of the cabinet. Part of CPI's Passive Cooling Solution. Use with an Air Dam Kit and Snap-In Filler Panels to enhance front-to-rear or front-to-top airflow through cabinets when cabinets are supported on leveling feet or casters.

  • Seals the base of 39" (990 mm) and 44" (1120 mm) deep T-Series SteelFrame Cabinets manufactured after May 2009
  • Includes one brush-sealed, 3" x 11.5" (76 mm x 292 mm) cable access port located at the rear center of the panel.

Airflow Director for T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet

Direct hot exhaust air at the back of the cabinet from the bottom of the cabinet toward the top of the cabinet. Part of CPI's Passive Cooling Solution. Use with teh T-Series SteelFrame Cabinet with Vertical Exhaust Duct, and Air Dam Kit, and Snap-In Filler Panels to create one-way, front-to-top airflow through the cabinet.

  • 9.9" H x 8.0" D (252 mm x 203 mm)
  • Attaches to the cabinet frame; match to cabinet width: T1 or T2

Lowering cabinet temperatures by delivering cold air from the floor

Cabinet Fan Kit for T-Series

The T-Series fan kit provides optional ventilation and cooling with the built-in redundancy of a three-fan system. Fans exhaust warm air out of the top f the cabinet.

  • Provides 300 CFM of ventilation and cooling for cabinet
  • Quick, easy mounting to inside of top panel on standard cabinets (not for use on cabinets that the the Vertical Exhaust Duct)
  • Includes one 12' L (3.7 m), detachable power cord with IEC C-13 connector and molded plug

Snap-In Filler Panels


Block airflow through open rack-mounted spaces between equipment to contain hot air at the back of the cabinet. Part of CPI's Passice Cooling Solution.

  • Use with Air Dam Kit to block airflow around equipment.
