CPI and Sanmina - SCI Sign Global Agreement to Co-Develop Network Enclosure Products
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a 100% employee-owned leading manufacturer of structural support systems for technology equipment, and Sanmina-SCI, one of the world's largest manufacturers of cabling and circuits, announce the signing of an agreement to design, develop and manufacture high quality cabinets and enclosure systems for computer networks worldwide.
CPI's legacy as a solutions provider to end users, and its expertise in the sales and marketing of systems designed to organize, store and secure computer networks, are being combined with Sanmina-SCI's internationally recognized efficiency as a contract designer and manufacturer of electronics and system storage products. CPI customers worldwide will benefit from the enhanced product design resources, global manufacturing presence and international sales and marketing support created by the announcement of an agreement between the two companies. With global sales of more than 10 billion dollars (US) and operations located in 22 countries and five continents, Sanmina-SCI's skill in the cost-effective design and manufacturing of complex interconnect products and its leadership in circuit fabrication, system assembly, integration, and production of enclosures and cabling are recognized throughout the world. The pairing of Sanmina-SCI's extensive manufacturing resources and engineering capabilities with CPI's global sales, customer service and distributor networks will provide customers worldwide with leading-edge, high quality products without peer in the industry.
