WESTLAKE VILLAGE, California, US –
December 2010 - Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a global manufacturer providing
voice, data and security products and service solutions that optimize, store and
secure technology equipment celebrates 10 years in Northern Latin America and
the grand opening of their new CDAT (Centro de Diseño y Alta Tecnología)
facility in Mexico City.
Since the Mexico City Office was established in 2000, it has
doubled in size and increased the space of its training and demo rooms to meet
the growing demands of the region. CPI’s Mexico City Office now includes a
state-of-the-art training center, CDAT, which is designed to provide training
and educational expertise in the latest technologies for today’s IT and Telecom
applications to customers and users.
CPI’s ten year presence in Mexico would not be the success it
is without the team behind it. In 2000 Alfonso Santos was appointed Area Manager
for Latin America and established Mexico’s first office. Along with Alfonso,
Rosa Maria Romero Ruiz, who also came on board in 2000, were the driving forces
in the startup and growth of CPI in Latin America.
In 2006 Victor Banuelos joined CPI as a Field Applications
Engineer to support pre and post sales technical needs. Victor creates technical
presentations and designs as well as prepares and executes training programs to
distributors, contractors and end users.
Francisco Gonzalez came on board to CPI in 2009 as a Regional
Sales Manager for Northern Mexico. His sales territory includes North and West
Mexico and he has diligently worked to develop the market in the region,
effectively reaching more business partners and increasing market share.
Under Alfonso’s leadership CPI’s unique corporate culture of
employee ownership has been established and furthered in Mexico. From 2000-2010
the sales revenue has increased eightfold, the number of distributor partners in
Mexico has doubled and in 2010 a Certified Contractor Program was established
with 44 contractors. CPI has also been able to expand into new markets such as
Costa Rica and Panama.
To recognize the accomplishments of CPI and their 10 years in
Northern Latin America as well as the grand opening of the new CDAT facility,
there will be a celebration on December 9, 2010 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. In
attendance will be local customers, business partners, CPI’s Executive Team, and
board members. CPI’s President & CEO Larry Renaud will perform the highly
anticipated ribbon cutting for the new CDAT facility followed by an award
ceremony at 8:00pm honoring distributors and selected contractors. The
celebration will end with Victor Banuelos, Francisco Gonzales and Alfonso Santos
giving a tour and presentation of the new CDAT facility.
