CPI Awarded BICSI Prestige Corporate Member Status

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - December, 2005 - Chatsworth Products, Inc. (CPI), a leading manufacturer of systems designed to organize, store and secure IT infrastructure equipment announces the receipt of BICSI’s Prestige Corporate Member (PCM) status.

CPI has been recognized as a Platinum level BICSI PCM, which is the highest BICSI designation available to manufacturers. With 9 RCDD professionals on staff, CPI extends to customers an abundance of knowledge and resources to aid them in multiple facets of our business. CPI is only the second manufacturer to be awarded the Platinum level BICSI PCM status.

The BICSI PCM status is designed to differentiate and provide solid credibility to organizations that demonstrate collective experience of their staff, project history and on-going training philosophies. Three different accreditation tiers exist within the BICSI PCM program; Silver, Gold and Platinum, depending on the organizations number of RCDDs and BICSI Registered Installers/Technicians on staff. BICSI registered manufacturers, distributors and contractors have the opportunity to apply for PCM.

To be considered, CPI had to fulfill the following program requirements established for Platinum level BICSI PCM status:

Current BICSI corporate member in good standing.
Have at least five consecutive years serving the information transport systems industry.
Record of at least 3 BICSI RCDDs on permanent staff.
Three letters of reference from three different customers attesting the quality of our products and functionality of our warranty services.
A copy of valid ISO 9000 series certifications.
A copy of one valid independent laboratory testing certificate from one of our most critical products.
